Alondra Cruz is a Mexican American self-taught traditional artist and poet based in Chicago. Alondra started taking drawing seriously when she was just ten years old. She has not stopped creating and improving her art since. She loves working with acrylic paint and has recently discovered poetry as another way to express herself. She is passionate about creating meaningful narratives through her work. Alondra's inspiration for her work stems from personal experiences, people, and places.

Alondra's favorite medium to work with is acrylic paint! When she is not creating art or writing poetry, you can find her curling up in a good book, cooking, biking, or simply catching up with friends!
